Role/Responsibilities ​

Assigned to design the frontend and develop the backend to process data quickly and accurately, ensuring compatibility with the frontend, featuring the following:

  • Display links in card format
  • Record link click statistics
  • Link search system
  • Link filtering system by category
  • Responsive design

Problems/Challenges ​

Over the past period, the organization has not had a centralized website to collect essential work-related links. If these links were not bookmarked or noted down, users would not be able to access them. This problem presented an opportunity to develop a link collection website for users, allowing them to easily access various links once they are on the site, thus enhancing user convenience.

Design Concept ​

The system design will be developed as a web application, focusing on user-friendly UI/UX design and responsiveness across all screen sizes. The selection of programming languages and tools was analyzed for efficiency and suitability for the development team to work on continuously.

Technologies/Tools ​

  • Frontend: Vue.js (Nuxt) - A popular, easy-to-use, and efficient framework.
  • Backend: Node.js (Express) - A popular, user-friendly, and efficient framework.
  • Database: PostgreSQL - Suitable for storing large amounts of data with good performance.
  • Styling: Bootstrap - Used for designing the UI/Responsive aspects of the web application.
  • DevOps: Docker - Used for deploying the API part of the system, and Kong API was used for reverse proxying the Frontend and Backend.

Outcome ​

After the development and launch of the link collection website for users, it has increased the convenience of accessing various websites by consolidating links in one place, resulting in a positive user experience. It has also been designated as the organization's main website.
